About us

We love Re-Homing Quality Oak Furniture, simple beautiful furniture that should last a lifetime, if cared for properly.

We scour the country "so you don't have to" finding the best pre-loved examples, bringing them back to our workshop, some of course, need a little more attention than others, so they are restored using traditional techniques, re-stained, polished or lacquered.

We spend time on every piece that comes to us, getting its own Oak Exchange service, we also provide you with all of the information about what's been restored / repaired on your new purchase.

 

Great Savings

We try as much as possible to retail our furniture at roughly half of the cost it was, originally, when it was new, any small variance is a reflection of the purchase price and the cost of collection and any restoration, but you'll find prices are "significantly" cheaper than new, often with more character, you'll find that you will only need to visit us, rather than trailing around the country looking for examples in good condition.

Do you provide Delivery?

 

Yes, we can provide a Local "single person, doorstep" delivery to your door, within 60KM with help from you or another person from your household, to take the furniture into the house. For any Nationwide Delivery recommend you contact Shiply for a quotation for delivery outside of our "Local 60KM delivery radius", just use our sizes to get the quote, its best to wait a few days to get more competitive quotes, you can also Whatsapp us if you're in the Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool areas, as we do now also deliver into those areas regularly, so we can give you a delivery quote.

If you cant help with the lifting and you need the furniture taken into the property, we can quote for a two man delivery, just ask for a Two Man Delivery Quote.

Please note, our delivery buddy cannot take furniture upstairs, delivery is usually 2/3 weeks from payment of the delivery charge.

How do I sell you an item?

 

People generally send WhatsApp photos to us with a general description and condition report, please include your postcode and how much you'd like for the items.

What is your returns policy?

 

All furniture is sold as seen, it's serviced and if there are any minor defects, we'll tell you about them on the description, or before it leaves the workshop, we want you to be happy with your furniture, so if we've got it wrong, we will always refund you straight away when you return the furniture at your cost, to our showroom.

How do I track my purchase?

 

If you elect to have your item delivered, we can take up to 21 days, to maximise the delivery route, so we're working as green as possible. We'll be in constant communication with you.

 

 

How can I Collect my Purchase

 

Easy, when we get your order through, we'll contact you to arrange a suitable time, then you'll have a window that you can arrive and collect, as someone can be there to help you.

 

 

What are your guarantees

 

We guarantee your satisfaction, some items are older than others, some have a little more wear than others, we'll tell you of course, but patina and character are priceless, especially with large pieces, we'll also send photos of any part of the piece that you want, we always want satisfied and repeat, so we work hard to get things right.
